Summary

Tutoring for foster children and interim study. Requires a school corporation to provide tutoring for a child who is or was in foster care if requested by the child's foster parent or adoptive parent (if the child of the adoptive parent was formerly in foster care), or if a court appointed special advocate determines that the child has demonstrated a need for tutoring. Urges the legislative council to assign to an appropriate study committee topics concerning the involvement of schools in the provision of family and child services.
