Summary

Expands the scope of inmate deaths that are to reported to the Governor and Legislature. Requires reports to be published on the Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation website. Requires reports on the cause of death and mandates public access to certain information within those reports. Takes effect on the effective date of section 353-40, Hawaii Revised Statutes.
