Senators Butler of the 55th and Brown of the 26th offered the following amendment:

Amend the Senate Regulated Industries and Utilities Committee substitute to HB 568 (LC 36 1436S) by adding at the end of line 25 the following:

No commissioner shall be elected to serve as chairperson who has been found to have been in violation of Chapter 5 of Title 21 and fined a total of more than $2,500.00 within the previous 12 months.
