CALIFORNIA LEGISLATURE— 2021–2022 REGULAR SESSION

Assembly Bill
No. 2141

Introduced by Assembly Member Eduardo Garcia

February 15, 2022

An act to amend Section 40920.8 of the Health and Safety Code, relating to air pollution.

LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL'S DIGEST

AB 2141, as introduced, Eduardo Garcia. Air pollution: best available retrofit control technology.
Existing law requires the State Air Resources Board to establish and maintain a statewide clearinghouse that identifies the best available control technology and best available retrofit control technology for criteria air pollutants, and related technologies for the control of toxic air contaminants. Existing law requires air quality management districts and air pollution control districts, when updating their best available technology determinations, to use the information in the statewide clearinghouse.
This bill would make a nonsubstantive change to the latter provision.
Vote: MAJORITY   Appropriation: NO   Fiscal Committee: NO   Local Program: NO
