WHEREAS, Thomas McGaha is retiring from Texas Health and | ||
Human Services on April 30, 2023, drawing to a close an outstanding | ||
career with the State of Texas that has spanned over two decades; | ||
and | ||
WHEREAS, First joining HHS more than nine years ago, Tom | ||
McGaha became an audit coordinator in January 2016; he has served in | ||
the compliance division since its creation in September 2019, and | ||
over the course of his exemplary tenure, he has maintained a full | ||
load of coordination projects and has utilized his extensive audit | ||
experience to improve project resolution outcomes; and | ||
WHEREAS, Mr. McGaha previously worked for the Texas | ||
Department of Aging and Disability Services Office of Internal | ||
Audit and served as a project manager in the Texas Department of | ||
Insurance Internal Audit Office; and | ||
WHEREAS, Through his professionalism, dedication, and | ||
commitment to excellence, Tom McGaha has earned the respect and | ||
admiration of his colleagues, and he may indeed reflect with pride | ||
on a career well spent as he begins the next exciting chapter of his | ||
life; now, therefore, be it | ||
RESOLVED, That the Senate of the 88th Texas Legislature | ||
hereby congratulate Thomas McGaha on his retirement from Texas | ||
Health and Human Services and extend to him sincere best wishes for | ||
the future; and, be it further | ||
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
prepared for Mr. McGaha as an expression of high regard by the Texas | ||
Senate. |
