SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 478
         WHEREAS, Thomas McGaha is retiring from Texas Health and
  Human Services on April 30, 2023, drawing to a close an
  outstanding career with the State of Texas that has spanned over
  two decades; and
 
         WHEREAS, First joining HHS more than nine years ago, Tom
  McGaha became an audit coordinator in January 2016; he has served
  in the compliance division since its creation in September 2019,
  and over the course of his exemplary tenure, he has maintained a
  full load of coordination projects and has utilized his extensive
  audit experience to improve project resolution outcomes; and
 
         WHEREAS, Mr. McGaha previously worked for the Texas
  Department of Aging and Disability Services Office of Internal
  Audit and served as a project manager in the Texas Department of
  Insurance Internal Audit Office; and
 
         WHEREAS, Through his professionalism, dedication, and
  commitment to excellence, Tom McGaha has earned the respect and
  admiration of his colleagues, and he may indeed reflect with
  pride on a career well spent as he begins the next exciting
  chapter of his life; now, therefore, be it
 
         RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 88th
  Legislature, hereby congratulate Thomas McGaha on his retirement
  from Texas Health and Human Services and extend to him sincere
  best wishes for the future; and, be it further
 
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this Resolution be
  prepared for Mr. McGaha as an expression of high regard from the
  Texas Senate.
