AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION 9-8-50, AS AMENDED, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO SERVICE CREDIT IN THE RETIREMENT SYSTEM FOR JUDGES AND SOLICITORS, SO AS TO PROVIDE THAT A MEMBER UPON TERMINATION WHO DOES NOT QUALIFY FOR A MONTHLY BENEFIT MAY TRANSFER HIS SERVICE CREDIT TO THE SOUTH CAROLINA RETIREMENT SYSTEM, AND TO CLARIFY PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE TRANSFER OF EARNED SERVICE CREDIT IN RETIREMENT PLANS ADMINISTERED BY THE SOUTH CAROLINA RETIREMENT SYSTEMS. - ratified title

Provide That A Member Upon Termination Who Does Not Qualify For A Monthly Benefit May Transfer His Service Credit To The South Carolina Retirement System, And To Clarify Provisions Related To The Transfer Of Earned Service Credit In Retirement Plans Administered By The South Carolina Retirement Systems. - Ratified Title
