        Introduced  by  Sen.  PARKER -- read twice and ordered printed, and when
          printed to be committed to the Committee on  Energy  and  Telecommuni-
          cations

        AN ACT directing the public service commission and the Long Island power
          authority  to  extend  elements  of  the compensation under the "Value
          Stack" to behind-the-meter resources

          The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and  Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:

     1    Section  1.  Within  one  hundred twenty days of the effective date of
     2  this act the public service commission shall, after a  hearing  held  on
     3  notice, extend appropriate elements of the compensation under the "Value
     4  Stack",  as  adopted  by  the commission in case 15-E-0751, to resources
     5  located behind customer electric meters.
     6    § 2. Within one hundred eighty days of the effective date of this act,
     7  the Long Island power authority shall extend appropriate elements of the
     8  compensation under the "Value Stack",  as  adopted  in  the  authority's
     9  Value  of  Distributed  Energy  Resources  tariff,  to resources located
    10  behind customer electric meters.
    11    § 3. This act shall take effect immediately.
