        AN  ACT  to amend the mental hygiene law, in relation to prohibiting the
          dissemination of certain personal information
          The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and  Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
     1    Section  1.  The mental hygiene law is amended by adding a new section
     2  7.14 to read as follows:
     3  § 7.14 Prohibit dissemination of certain personal information.
     4    Personal information, including but not limited to, names,  addresses,
     5  children  and bank accounts, shall not be disseminated or made available
     6  for public review when such information relates to a petition for  guar-
     7  dianship.
     8    §  2.  This  act shall take effect on the ninetieth day after it shall
     9  have become a law.
         EXPLANATION--Matter in italics (underscored) is new; matter in brackets
                              [ ] is old law to be omitted.
