       AN  ACT  authorizing  the  commissioner  of taxation and finance and the
         commissioner of education to establish a special equalization rate for
         the Eastport-South Manor Central school district
         THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
       BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
    1    Section  1. Notwithstanding the provisions of section 1314 of the real
    2  property tax law, the commissioner of taxation and finance, in  conjunc-
    3  tion  with  the  commissioner  of  education,  shall establish a special
    4  equalization rate for the Eastport-South Manor Central  school  district
    5  for  the  purposes  of  apportioning  real  property  taxes  for  school
    6  purposes.
    7    S 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
