       AN ACT to amend the education law, in relation to requiring the  commis-
         sioner  to post past common core and other state standardized examina-
         tions on the department's website
         THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
       BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
    1    Section 1. Section 305 of the education law is amended by adding a new
    2  subdivision 53 to read as follows:
    3    53. THE COMMISSIONER SHALL POST ALL COMMON CORE EXAMINATIONS AND OTHER
    4  EXAMINATIONS  WHICH  HAVE BEEN ADMINISTERED TO STUDENTS STATEWIDE ON THE
    5  DEPARTMENT'S WEBSITE IN ORDER TO PROVIDE PARENTS, STUDENTS,  AND  EDUCA-
    6  TORS  WITH  MATERIALS  WHICH CAN BE USED TO PRACTICE FOR FUTURE ADMINIS-
    7  TRATIONS OF SUCH EXAMINATIONS.
    8    S 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
