Summary
To keep New York in compliance with the No Child Left Behind Act of 2001 (Public Law 107-110), which amended the Elementary and Secondary Educa- tion Act of 1965 (20 U.S.C.A S 6301, et. seq), by extending the effec- tiveness of the provisions of the Education Law enacted to comply with such federal law by one additional year.

Extends effectiveness of chapter 425 of 2002 and chapter 101 of 2003, amending the education law, relating to the suspension of pupils who bring a firearm to or possess a firearm at a school and the implementation of the No Child Left Behind Act of 2001.
