STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Eleven
AN ACT relative to screening panels for medical injury claims.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
1 Medical Malpractice Panel and Insurance Oversight. Amend RSA 519-B:11, VI(b) to read as follows:
(b) The committee shall make a final report of its findings about medical liability insurance rates and the mandatory panel process and any recommendations for proposed legislation to the speaker of the house of representatives, the senate president, the house clerk, the senate clerk, the governor, and the state library on or before December 1, [2010] 2015. The report shall include a recommendation to terminate, continue, or amend RSA 519-B.
2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.

SB 12 FISCAL NOTE
AN ACT relative to screening panels for medical injury claims.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The Judicial Branch states this bill will have no fiscal impact on state, county, and local expenditures and revenue.
METHODOLOGY:
The Judicial Branch states this bill amends RSA 519-B, VI(b) to require the final report on medical liability insurance rates and the mandatory screening panels to be due on or before December 2015. The Branch states extending the date for the final report will have no fiscal impact.
