Summary

An Act To Amend Section 57-73-21, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Revise The Definition Of The Term "business Enterprise" For Purposes Of The Income Tax Jobs Credit To Include Entities That Are Qualifying Businesses Under The Mississippi Entertainment District Act; To Provide That For The Purposes Of Determining Eligibility For The Income Tax Jobs Credit, All Net Full-time Jobs Created Within An Entertainment District By Business Enterprises That Are Qualifying Businesses Under The Mississippi Entertainment District Act Shall Be Aggregated Within That Entertainment District And That All Qualifying Businesses In An Entertainment District Shall Be Eligible For Such Tax Credits When The Aggregate Number Of Net Full-time Jobs Created In That Entertainment District Meets The Required Minimum Number Of Jobs; And For Related Purposes.
