AN ACT

To amend chapter 9, RSMo, by adding thereto one new section relating to the designation of organ donor awareness day.




Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the state of Missouri, as follows:


            Section A. Chapter 9, RSMo, is amended by adding thereto one new section, to be known as section 9.157, to read as follows:

            9.157. The governor shall annually issue a proclamation setting apart September fourteenth of each year as "Organ Donor Awareness Day", and recommending to the people of the state that the day be appropriately observed through activities which will increase awareness of organ donation.
