| ||||||
2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
3 | learn of the death of Hans Brinnich of McHenry, who passed away | ||||||
4 | on June 20, 2016; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, Hans Brinnich was born in the Dauba, Sudetenland | ||||||
6 | region of Czechoslovakia on September 17, 1921; he served in | ||||||
7 | World War II and married Ursula Witzenhauser on March 11, 1949 | ||||||
8 | in Greding, Germany; he was a longtime resident of Crystal Lake | ||||||
9 | and McHenry; and
| ||||||
10 | WHEREAS, Hans Brinnich was known by many as the kind face | ||||||
11 | behind the butcher shop counter at the local Jewel, where he | ||||||
12 | worked for nearly 40 years; and
| ||||||
13 | WHEREAS, Hans Brinnich and his wife enjoyed traveling and | ||||||
14 | spending time with their family and friends; and
| ||||||
15 | WHEREAS, Hans Brinnich was preceded in death by his wife of | ||||||
16 | 62 years, Ursula, and his sister, Traudel; and
| ||||||
17 | WHEREAS, Hans Brinnich is survived by his children, Hans | ||||||
18 | (Dana) Brinnich, Gerald Brinnich, and Peter Brinnich, and his | ||||||
19 | grandchildren, Chris (Carla) Brinnich, Heidi (Shaun) Mackie, | ||||||
20 | and Stephen Brinnich; therefore, be it

2 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
3 | Hans Brinnich, and extend our sincere condolences to his | ||||||
4 | family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it | ||||||
5 | further

6 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
7 | presented to the family of Hans Brinnich as an expression of | ||||||
8 | our deepest sympathy.
