| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of | ||||||
| 3 | Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Lawrance | ||||||
| 4 | Tyrone "Snake" Howard, Jr. of Peoria, who passed away on August | ||||||
| 5 | 17, 2016; and
| ||||||
| 6 | WHEREAS, Lawrance Howard, Jr. was born on January 18, 1971 | ||||||
| 7 | in Peoria; his parents were Lawrance, Sr., and Freida Howard; | ||||||
| 8 | and
| ||||||
| 9 | WHEREAS, Lawrance Howard, Jr. was a 1989 graduate of Peoria | ||||||
| 10 | Central High School, where his basketball team was a runner-up | ||||||
| 11 | for the IHSA State championship with a record of 32 wins and | ||||||
| 12 | one loss; he later pursued his basketball career at Lincoln | ||||||
| 13 | Junior College and Toledo University; he was a 2004 inductee | ||||||
| 14 | into the Peoria Central High School Hall of Fame; and
| ||||||
| 15 | WHEREAS, Lawrance Howard, Jr. was a respected sales | ||||||
| 16 | consultant at Royal Publishing for 11 years; he was also a | ||||||
| 17 | former manager at Big Johns North BBQ; and
| ||||||
| 18 | WHEREAS, Lawrance Howard, Jr. enjoyed basketball, spending | ||||||
| 19 | time with his children, and history; and
| ||||||
| 20 | WHEREAS, Lawrance Howard, Jr. is preceded in death by his | ||||||

| 1 | parents and his fiancee, Yolanda N. Johnson; and
| ||||||
| 2 | WHEREAS, Lawrance Howard, Jr. is survived by his children, | ||||||
| 3 | Jasmine Howard, Kendall Yarbrough, Jakobe Howard, Jaylin | ||||||
| 4 | Howard, and Jarryn Howard; his sister, Khadijah Uqdah; his | ||||||
| 5 | brothers, Sean (Tammy) Timmons, Karstin Howard, Terrance | ||||||
| 6 | "Terry" Howard, Jerrance (Jessica) Howard, and Timothy Moton; | ||||||
| 7 | his grandchildren, Desirae', Azira, Ja'riyah, and John "BJ"; | ||||||
| 8 | his fiancee, Rachel M. Fuller; his stepfather, Oliver P. Moody; | ||||||
| 9 | and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends; | ||||||

| 13 | we, along with his family and friends, mourn the passing of | ||||||
| 14 | Lawrance Tyrone "Snake" Howard, Jr.; and be it further
