A BILL FOR AN ACT

 

 

relating to capital improvement projects for the benefit of the FORTIETH representative district.

 

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:

 

     SECTION 1.  The following sums, or so much thereof as shall be sufficient to finance the projects listed in this Act, are hereby appropriated out of the general revenues of the State of Hawaii for fiscal year 2018-2019:

     To be expended by the department of education:

     A.   Ilima intermediate school, Oahu.

          Repair and improvement of cafeteria.

                   Total funding                     $ 5,000,000

     B.   Iroquois point elementary school, Oahu.

          Plans, design, construction, and installation of playground equipment and playground covering.

     C.   James Campbell high school, Oahu.

          Athletic master plan.

     D.   James Campbell high school, Oahu.

          Design and construction of girls and boys locker rooms, restrooms, weight room, and athletic trainer room.

     E.   James Campbell high school, Oahu.

          Plans, design, construction, and installation of a new synthetic track and field turf, permanent stands, press box, and concession stand.

          Plans, design, and construction of a parking lot with an emergency access road.

          Installation of lighting fixtures on the Diamond Head side of North Road.

     SECTION 2.  The sums appropriated for the respective capital projects set forth in section 1 shall be expended by the designated expending agency for the purposes of this Act.
