Summary

Requires the clerk of the court to assess a fee for filing a petition for protection against repeat violence. Provides that any person who is the victim of stalking or cyberstalking or has reasonable cause to believe that there is a credible threat that he or she is in imminent danger of becoming the victim of any such acts has standing in the circuit court to file a sworn petition for an injunction for protection against such acts. Creates the Stalking and Cyberstalking Injunction Statewide Verification System within the Department of Law Enforcement, etc.
