AN ACT SUSPENDING LOW-EMISSION AND ZERO-EMISSION RENEWABLE ENERGY CREDIT PROGRAMS.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That title 16 of the general statutes be amended to suspend renewable energy credit eligibility for new low-emission and zero-emission generation projects.

Statement of Purpose:

To lower electric rates and save ratepayers hundreds of millions of dollars by suspending the low-emission renewable energy credit and zero-emission renewable energy credit programs.
