AN ACT CONCERNING EARNED FAMILY AND MEDICAL LEAVE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That part IV of chapter 557 of the general statutes be amended to modify the sick leave program for service workers, which is administered and enforced by the Labor Department, to provide earned family and medical leave to certain individuals employed in this state.
Statement of Purpose:
To expand the sick leave program to provide earned family and medical leave to certain individuals employed in this state.
