AN ACT CONCERNING WINE TASTING AT PACKAGE STORES.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

Section 1. (NEW) (Effective from passage) The Commissioner of Consumer Protection shall amend existing regulations of Connecticut state agencies, in accordance with the provisions of chapter 54 of the general statutes, to provide that no tastings of wine offered at package stores permitted pursuant to section 30-20 of the general statutes shall be offered from more than ten uncorked bottles at any one time when more than twenty-five persons, twenty-one years of age or older are present on the permitted premises for such tastings.

This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following sections:
