An act to amend Section 120100 of the Health and Safety Code, relating to public health.

The existing Communicable Disease Prevention and Control Act defines the term “health officer.”
This bill would make technical, nonsubstantive changes to that provision.

SECTION 1.

 Section 120100 of the Health and Safety Code is amended to read:

120100.
 “Health officer,” as used in the Communicable Disease Prevention and Control Act (Section 27) includes a county, city, and district health officers, and officer, and a city and district health boards, board, but does not include an advisory health boards. board.
