An act to amend Section 239 of the Food and Agricultural Code, relating to the Agriculture Trust Fund.

AB 486, as introduced, Mathis.
Agriculture Trust Fund: audit.
Existing law creates the Agriculture Trust Fund, the activities of which are subject to audit at least once every 2 years. Existing law provides that the trust accounts in the fund are to be used for the purpose of implementing and continuing agricultural programs, as specified.
This bill would provide that the Agriculture Trust Fund shall be audited at least once every year.
