Summary

The purpose of this bill is to provide quick and efficient delivery of medical benefits to injured workers, provide for medical treatment that is reasonably and causally related to the injury, ensure that the treating doctor’s opinion is superseded by guidelines and allow for diagnosis updates based upon diagnostic testing that is consistent with the legislative intent under 23-1-1(b).
