Summary
To amend title XVIII of the Social Security Act to expand supplemental benefits to meet the needs of chronically ill Medicare Advantage enrollees under the Medicare program, and for other purposes. This bill allows a Medicare Advantage (MA) plan to provide certain supplemental benefits to chronically ill enrollees beginning in plan year 2020. The Government Accountability Office must report to Congress on the provision of such supplemental benefits to MA enrollees.
