WHEREAS, Janelle Sosa is graduating as the salutatorian of | ||
the senior class of Harold T. Branch Academy for Career and | ||
Technical Education in 2017; and | ||
WHEREAS, Earning the title of salutatorian requires not only | ||
intellect and aptitude but also four years of dedication to the | ||
highest academic standards; Ms. Sosa has demonstrated a thorough | ||
understanding of a wide range of subjects, and her attainment of | ||
this coveted distinction is the crowning achievement of a notable | ||
high school career; and | ||
WHEREAS, The daughter of Joseph and Cydia Sosa, Ms. Sosa | ||
plans to continue her education at The University of Texas at | ||
Austin, studying public relations; and | ||
WHEREAS, Throughout her academic career, Janelle Sosa has | ||
earned the respect and admiration of her teachers and classmates, | ||
and her exceptional scholastic ability, hard work, and commitment | ||
to excellence have opened the way to limitless opportunities for | ||
this remarkable young Texan; now, therefore, be it | ||
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas | ||
Legislature hereby congratulate Janelle Sosa, salutatorian of the | ||
Class of 2017 at Harold T. Branch Academy for Career and Technical | ||
Education, and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued | ||
success as she begins the next exciting chapter of her life; and, be | ||
it further | ||
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
prepared for Ms. Sosa as an expression of high regard by the Texas | ||
House of Representatives. | ||
