Summary
As introduced, directs the board of nursing to establish the designation of a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (APRN-PMHNP-BC) for nurse practitioners who hold national specialty certification as a PMHNP-BC from the American Nurses Credentialing Center; allows psychiatric mental health nurse practitioners to practice without a collaborating physician if certain conditions are met. - Amends TCA Title 33; Title 53; Title 63 and Title 68.
