A HOUSE RESOLUTION
TO RECOGNIZE AND HONOR THE OWNERS AND STAFF OF UNIQUE SENSATIONS SOCIAL HALL IN CALHOUN COUNTY, PROVIDING AN ATTRACTIVE AND DISTINCTIVE ENVIRONMENT TO SUPPORT A VARIETY OF SOCIAL EVENTS, AND TO CONGRATULATE THEM AS THEY CELEBRATE THEIR TENTH ANNIVERSARY.
Whereas, South Carolina House of Representatives is pleased to learn that Unique Sensations will celebrate a decade of valued service in St. Matthews at an annual gala to be held on March 28, 2020, at Unique Sensations Social Hall; and
Whereas, as a distinctive business providing a clean and safe environment for a variety of community events, educational programs, spiritual assemblies, and political affairs, Unique Sensations Social Hall has prospered as a local business and has been a boon to education in the county; and
Whereas, Unique Sensations has has a vital influence on higher education for students at Calhoun County High School (CCHS) and, as a result, has made a positive impact on the lives of those students over the years; and
Whereas, each year Unique Sensations selects a deserving CCHS senior to receive a financial scholarship, and these scholarships have contributed significantly in producing individuals who have in turn contributed to the Calhoun County community; and
Whereas, in 2018, Unique Sensations was featured by WLTX for hosting a Super Bowl party in honor of Alshon Jeffries, a hometown wide receiver in the NFL. In addition, Unique Sensations was recognized in Calhoun Connects in October 2019; and
Whereas, the South Carolina House of Representatives appreciates the service that Unique Sensations Social Hall provides in the community, and the members celebrate with the owners and staff on reaching this significant milestone. Now, therefore,
Be it resolved by the House of Representatives:
That the members of the South Carolina House of Representatives, by this resolution, recognize and honor the owners and staff of Unique Sensations Social Hall in Calhoun County, providing an attractive and distinctive environment to support a variety of social events, and congratulate them as they celebrate their tenth anniversary.
Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be presented to Connie Hart-Jamison and Stepney Buckman, Sr.
