        Introduced by Sen. FERNANDEZ -- read twice and ordered printed, and when
          printed to be committed to the Committee on Health

        AN  ACT  to amend the social services law, in relation to including care
          and services provided by a child advocacy center under standard cover-
          age for Medicaid recipients

          The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and  Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:

     1    Section  1.  Subdivision 2 of section 365-a of the social services law
     2  is amended by adding a new paragraph (nn) to read as follows:
     3    (nn) care and services provided by a child advocacy center established
     4  pursuant to section four hundred twenty-three-a of this chapter which is
     5  licensed, certified, or otherwise authorized by the office  of  children
     6  and family services.
     7    § 2. This act shall take effect on the one hundred eightieth day after
     8  it  shall have become a law. Effective immediately, the addition, amend-
     9  ment, and/or repeal of any rule or regulation necessary for  the  imple-
    10  mentation  of  this  act on its effective date are authorized to be made
    11  and completed on or before such effective date.
