thence generally 50 southward and eastward along the generally westerly and southerly bound- 51 aries of the NYS Rocky Point Land (including the Currans Road Pond State 52 Wildlife Management Area, all adjacent or contiguous undeveloped Town of 53 Brookhaven parks, preserves, open space areas, or reserved areas, and 54 the crossings of the undeveloped Suffolk County property known as the 55 Port Jefferson - Westhampton road right of way, Whiskey Road, County 56 Route 21, and Currans Road), and including those properties identifiedS. 7235 5 1 as District 200, Section 346, Block 1, Lots 3 and 4, to the point where 2 the NYS Rocky Point Land meets the northerly side of NYS Route 25 3 (Middle Country Road); thence southward 45 crossing Grove Drive to its south side; thence westward along the south- 46 erly boundary of the Grove Drive road extension to the northwestern 47 corner of the property identified as District 200, Section 749, Block 3, 48 Lot 41.1 and comprised of parcels owned by the county of Suffolk and the 49 town of Brookhaven; thence southward to the southwestern corner of prop- 50 erty identified as District 200, Section 749, Block 3, Lot 43; thence 51 eastward along the southerly boundary of said property to the west side 52 of Lambert Avenue; thence westward along the northerly boundary of 5 property identified as District 200, Section 713, Block 1, Lot 1; thence 6 northward along the westerly side of Weeks Avenue to the northeastern 7 corner of property identified as District 200, Section 713, Block 3, Lot 8 1; thence westward along the northerly boundary of said property to 9 Michigan Avenue; thence northward along the easterly boundary of Michi- 10 gan Avenue to Moriches-Middle Island Road; thence westward along the 11 southerly boundary of Moriches-Middle Island Road to the point of begin- 12 ning. 13 § 2. This act shall take effect on the first of January next succeed- 14 ing the date on which it shall have become a law provided that if the 15 provisions of this act establishing a new description and boundaries of 16 the Central Pine Barrens Area or the core preservation area removed or 17 excludes any of the lands of the Central Pine Barrens Area or the core 18 preservation area as such lands are described and bounded in chapter 267 19 of the laws of 2015, and/or protections established and/or provided by 20 such act, this act shall be deemed repealed and of no force and effect 21 and chapter 267 of the laws of 2015 shall remain in full force and 22 effect. The state legislature shall notify the legislative bill draft- 23 ing commission of any such decrease and resulting repeal in order that 24 the commission may maintain an accurate and timely effective data base 25 of the official text of the laws of the state of New York in furtherance 26 of effectuating the provisions of section 44 of the legislative law and 27 section 70-b of the public officers law.
