       AN  ACT to amend the social services law, in relation to requiring child
         day care facilities to post a  copy  of  the  most  recent  inspection
         report
         THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
       BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
    1    Section 1. Section 390-i of the  social  services  law,  as  added  by
    2  section  1  of  part  Q of chapter 56 of the laws of 2014, is amended to
    3  read as follows:
    4    S 390-i. Notice of inspection report.  In every child day care program
    5  that is licensed or registered pursuant to section three hundred  ninety
    6  of  this title BY THE OFFICE OF CHILDREN AND FAMILY SERVICES, OR, PURSU-
    7  ANT TO ARTICLE FORTY-SEVEN OF THE NEW YORK CITY HEALTH CODE, THE DEPART-
    8  MENT OF HEALTH AND MENTAL HYGIENE OF THE CITY OF NEW YORK, the child day
    9  care provider shall post and maintain in a prominent place, a notice, to
   10  be provided by the office  of  children  and  family  services  OR  SUCH
   11  DEPARTMENT  OF  HEALTH AND MENTAL HYGIENE, that shall state the date the
   12  most recent child care inspection occurred and provide  information  for
   13  parents  and  caregivers  regarding  how to obtain information from such
   14  office regarding the results of the inspection.  If possible, the  child
   15  day care provider shall also post such information on the child day care
   16  program's website. Such child day care programs shall post and maintain,
   17  in  a  prominent place, such program's most recent compliance history as
   18  shown on the office of children and family  services  OR  DEPARTMENT  OF
   19  HEALTH AND MENTAL HYGIENE OF THE CITY OF NEW YORK website.
   20    S  2. This act shall take effect on the first of January next succeed-
   21  ing the date on which it shall have become  a  law.  Provided,  however,
   22  that effective immediately any rules and regulations necessary to imple-
   23  ment the provisions of this act on its effective date are authorized and
   24  directed to be completed on or before such date.
