        Introduced  by  Sen. HELMING -- read twice and ordered printed, and when
          printed to be committed to the Committee on Environmental Conservation
        AN ACT to amend the  environmental  conservation  law,  in  relation  to
          establishing  the  open  season  for hunting coyote in certain circum-
          stances
          The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and  Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
     1    Section  1.  Paragraph  o  of  subdivision 2 of section 11-0905 of the
     2  environmental conservation law, as amended by chapter 911 of the laws of
     3  1990, is amended to read as follows:
     4    o. Coyote       [Fixed annually]                Fixed annually
     5                    [by regulation]                 by regulation
     6                    After December
     7                    31, 2019, the open
     8                    season for these
     9                    species shall be all
    10                    year, provided, that
    11                    the county legislature
    12                    passes a resolution
    13                    authorizing such hunting
    14                    within the county.
    15    § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
