        COMMENDING  Kids  Who  Bank  upon  the occasion of
        hosting its 2nd Annual Kidpreneur Awards Gala Shades
        of Africa, and paying tribute to the 2019 honorees

  WHEREAS, It is the custom of this Legislative Body to commend  those
illustrious  organizations  of  the  State  of  New York whose focus and
intent have made a substantial impact on the quality of  life  in  their
communities; and

  WHEREAS,  Attendant  to  such  concern,  and in full accord with its
long-standing traditions, this  Legislative  Body  is  justly  proud  to
commend  Kids  Who  Bank  upon  the  occasion  of hosting its 2nd Annual
Kidpreneur Awards Gala Shades of Africa to be celebrated  Sunday,  April
7,  2019, at SVA Theatre, New York, New York, and to pay tribute to this
year's honorees; and

  WHEREAS,  Founded  by  Jatali  Bellanton,  Kids  Who  Bank   is   an
organization  which addresses everyday functionalities such as balancing
a checkbook, budgeting, wants versus needs, credit scores, and more in a
story format, as well as through outreach; and

  WHEREAS, Kids Who Bank also connects an international  community  of
professionals who encourage youth while giving them additional knowledge
and the tools they need to flourish; and

  WHEREAS, Kids Who Bank is proud to pay tribute to the 2019 honorees:
Kayla Jackson and Chisa Erbele, Nadia Lopez, Jr. Flip Kids, J. Alexander
Martin, Elijah Cruz, Quardoan Allen-Lewis, Wynter Hubbard, Aiden Garcia,
Raval Davis, Demarjay Smith, Destiny Harris, Sabrina Abraham, Brown Boys
Lemonade, Fabiola Jean, Blacka Di Danca, and Sakinah Bates; and

  WHEREAS,   Rare   indeed  is  the  impressive  dedication  shown  by
individuals  for  the  benefit  of  others  which  these  honorees  have
displayed throughout their lives; and

  WHEREAS,  Remaining  true  to its mission, Kids Who Bank honor youth
who are entrepreneurs and philanthropists as well  as  adults  who  have
created paths for them; and

  WHEREAS,  It  is  the  sense  of  this  Legislative  Body  that when
individuals and organizations of such noble aims and accomplishments are
brought to our attention, they should be celebrated  and  recognized  by
all the citizens of this great Empire State; now, therefore, be it

  RESOLVED,  That  this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
commend Kids Who Bank upon  the  occasion  of  hosting  its  2nd  Annual
Kidpreneur  Awards Gala Shades of Africa, and paying tribute to the 2019
honorees; and be it further

  RESOLVED, That copies of this  Resolution,  suitably  engrossed,  be
transmitted  to  Kids  Who  Bank  Founder Jatali Bellanton, and the 2019
aforementioned honorees.
