       AN  ACT  to  amend the legislative law, in relation to prohibiting short
         titles from containing a person's name
         THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
       BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
    1    Section  1.  The legislative law is amended by adding a new section 49
    2  to read as follows:
    3    S 49. SHORT TITLES. COMMENCING WITH THE TWO THOUSAND  TEN  LEGISLATIVE
    4  SESSION AND EVERY SESSION THEREAFTER, NO BILL SHALL BE INTRODUCED WITH A
    5  SHORT TITLE THAT CONTAINS ANY PERSON'S NAME.
    6    S 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
