ABINANTI -- read once and referred to the Commit- tee on Transportation AN ACT to require the department of transportation to determine which entrances to parkways in the county of Westchester are most frequently accessed by oversized commercial vehicles and to install certain barriers to prevent such vehicles from accessing such entrances THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: 1 Section 1. The department of transportation is hereby authorized and 2 directed to determine which entrances to parkways in the county of West- 3 chester are most frequently accessed by oversized commercial vehicles 4 and to install physical barriers to prevent oversized commercial vehi- 5 cles from accessing such entrances. 6 S 2. The commissioner of the department of transportation may request, 7 and is authorized to receive, any information from any state or local 8 agencies that is relevant and material to its determination. Such infor- 9 mation received by the department of transportation shall be subject to 10 the same requirements for confidentiality and limitations on use, if 11 any, as are applicable to such state agency's use of such information. 12 S 3.
