        AN ACT to amend the correction law, in relation  to  providing  feminine
          hygiene products at no cost to individuals in correctional facilities
          The  People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
     1    Section 1. The correction law is amended by adding a new  section  625
     2  to read as follows:
     3    §  625.  Feminine hygiene products. Feminine hygiene products, includ-
     4  ing, but not limited to, sanitary napkins,  tampons  and  panty  liners,
     5  shall  be provided at no cost to individuals in correctional facilities,
     6  as defined in section two of this chapter, and to any  other  individual
     7  in a punitive custodial setting.
     8    § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
