Summary
The purpose of this bill is to ensure that when a proposed annexation of a territory from one municipality to another municipality proposes to annex property which constitutes at least 5% of the total assessed valu- ation of property within the municipality from which the territory is being annexed, the annexation must be approved by voters of the munici- pality from which the property is to be annexed.

Relates to voter approval of municipal annexation; requires approval of a majority of the voters in the municipality where the property to be annexed exceeds five percent of the total assessed value of the total assessed value of all parcels in the municipality.
