Summary

The purpose of this bill is to ensure that when a proposed annexation of a territory from one municipality to another municipality proposes to annex property which constitutes at least 5% of the total assessed valu- ation of property within the municipality from which the territory is being annexed, the annexation must be approved by voters of the munici- pality from which the property is to be annexed.
