Summary

The Innocent Tenants Protection Act, section 711-a, will amend the real property and proceedings law. This act authorizes public housing authority and owners of federally assisted housing to use leases providing protection rights for tenants who are either unaware of or attempted to put an end to any criminal or drug related activity committed by a family member on or off public assisted housing premises in the state of New York.
