STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Twenty
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
1 Insurance Coverage for Pediatric Autoimmune Neuropsychiatric Disorders; Report Required. The insurance commissioner shall solicit information and data from health insurance carriers regarding the effect of 2019, 277 (SB224) regarding insurance coverage for pediatric autoimmune neuropsychiatric disorders. The data collected shall include the number of pediatric autoimmune neuropsychiatric disorder cases diagnosed, treatment recommended by health care providers, denials of treatment approved by insurance carriers, number of appeals by insureds, and number of appeals granted by insurance carriers. The commissioner shall analyze the information and submit a report on or before November 1, 2020 to the speaker of the house of representatives, the president of the senate, the governor, and the chairpersons of the house and senate committees having jurisdiction over health and human services issues.
2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
