A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

AN ACT to appropriate funds for a school of OPTOMETRY at the university of north carolina at pembroke.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

SECTION 1.  There is appropriated from the General Fund to the Board of Governors of The University of North Carolina the sum of two million one hundred thousand dollars ($2,100,000) for the 2017‑2018 fiscal year for the construction of a facility to house the School of Optometry at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke.

SECTION 2.  This act becomes effective July 1, 2017.
