A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

AN ACT to appropriate funds for accessible electronic information services for blind and disabled persons.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

SECTION 1.  There is appropriated from the General Fund to the Department of Health and Human Services the sum of seventy‑five thousand dollars ($75,000) for the 2010‑2011 fiscal year to be used by the Division of Services for the Blind within the Department of Health and Human Services to maintain an accessible electronic information service for blind and disabled persons in this State.

SECTION 2.  This act becomes effective July 1, 2010.
