A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

AN ACT to appropriate funds for children's advocacy centers.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

SECTION 1.  There is appropriated from the General Fund or from any available federal Block Grant funds to the Department of Health and Human Services the sum of three hundred seventy‑five thousand dollars ($375,000) for the 2012‑2013 fiscal year to be allocated equally among the 22 fully certified child advocacy centers in this State.

SECTION 2.  This act becomes effective July 1, 2012.
