WHEREAS, it is written in Ecclesiastes 3:1 that "To everything there is a season, and a time for every purpose under the Heaven," and as such, on January 4, 2022, the immaculate author and finisher of our soul's destiny summoned the mortal presence of dearly beloved, Ms. Hattie Mae Fielder Hudnall, to eternal rest, rendering great heartache and loss to her family, friends and community; and

WHEREAS, born to the late Mattie Logan Fielder and William Estelle Fielder on July 27, 1943, Hattie started her schooling at a small country school in the Roberts Community in Lawrence County, Mississippi, and completed her high school education at Harris High School in Hickory, Mississippi; and

WHEREAS, she furthered her education at East Central Community College in Decatur, Mississippi, receiving a degree in accounting and business administration; and

WHEREAS, Ms. Hudnall worked many jobs throughout her career, starting at Bonn Homme Manufacturing in Decatur and ending her work career at the Mississippi Highway Safety Patrol office in Meridian, Mississippi; and

WHEREAS, Ms. Hudnall was happiest spending time with her family, and she leaves them with the knowledge that they were truly loved, and she will be remembered as a very kind, loving and thoughtful person, who will be greatly missed by her family and everyone who knew her; and

WHEREAS, though she has traversed life's river to now stand upon the celestial shores in wonderment of Heaven's grandeur in reunion with the kindred spirits who transitioned before her, including her parents, Mattie and William Fielder; two children, Sharon Marie Hudnall and Gregory Earl Hudnall, both of Hickory, Mississippi; siblings, Ida Wash, Scotia Thomas, Rita Fielder, Joseph Fielder, Myrtis Fielder, Benjamin Fielder, Andrew Fielder, Mary Fielder, Irene Fielder, Leroy Chapman, Marion Fielder and Annie Bell Fielder Jones, Ms. Hudnall's legacy will continue to refresh the hearts and memories of her loved ones, including her six children, Robin Hudnall, Thomas Hudnall, Daphné Honoré and Tracey (Tony) Taylor of Hickory, Terry D.      WHEREAS, Ms. Hudnall will forever be loved, cherished and missed by all who knew her, and since it is written in 2 Corinthians 5:8, that to be "absent from the body is to be present with the Lord," her family and friends can find peace and comfort during this difficult time; and

WHEREAS, it is the policy of the House of Representatives to commend the lives of outstanding Mississippians, especially those such as Ms. Hudnall, whose life's light illuminated the path of hope for all she encountered along this earthly sojourn:
