Summary

An Act To Amend Section 67-1-5 And 67-1-51, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Authorize The Issuance Of Charter Ship Operator's Permits Under The Local Option Alcoholic Beverage Control Law; To Provide That A Charter Ship Operator's Permit Shall Authorize The Holder Thereof And Its Employees To Serve, Monitor, Store And Otherwise Control The Serving And Availability Of Certain Alcoholic Beverages To Customers Of The Permit Holder During Private Charters Under Contract Provided By The Permit Holder; To Provide That A Charter Ship Operator's Permit Shall Authorize Such Action By The Permit Holder And Its Employees Only As To Alcoholic Beverages Brought Onto The Permit Holder's Ship By Customers Of The Permit Holder As Part Of A Private Charter Under Contract; To Provide That A Ship Operator's Permit Shall Not Authorize The Permit Holder To Make Alcoholic Beverages Available To Customers, Except As Authorized In This Act; To Amend Section 27-71-5, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Provide The Fee Required For A Charter Ship Operator's Permit; And For Related Purposes.
