An Act To Amend Section 83-5-35, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Revise The Unfair Methods Of Competition And Unfair Practices Of Insurance Companies To Prohibit The Requirement Of Mandatory Automatic Electronic Funds Transfer For The Payment Of Deposits, Premiums And Deductibles As A Contingency To Obtain An Insurance Policy Without Having The Option To Alternative Forms Of Payment; To Prohibit Insurance Companies From Placing Existing Policyholders In Default For Failing To Enter Into An Agreement To Remit Payment Of Deposits, Premiums And Deductibles Through A Mandatory Automatic Electronic Funds Transfer Without Having The Option To Alternative Forms Of Payment; And For Related Purposes.
