97TH GENERAL ASSEMBLY
INTRODUCED BY REPRESENTATIVE BAHR.
WHEREAS, the Missouri General Assembly has a long tradition of rendering assistance to those programs aimed at developing qualities of citizenship and leadership within our youth; and
WHEREAS, TeenPac is a dynamic, hands-on leadership school for Christian students, with its mission to train youth to understand the political process, value their liberty, defend their Christian faith, and engage the culture; and
WHEREAS, the Political Communication Workshop explores different aspects of political communication and public presentation through various activities, including policy debates and a mock legislative session:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that we, the members of the Missouri House of Representatives, Ninety-seventh General Assembly, hereby grant the TeenPac Program permission to use the House Chamber for the purpose of conducting a mock legislative session on Friday, March 8, 2013, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
