AN ACT

To amend chapter 227, RSMo, by adding thereto one new section relating to the designation of a memorial highway.




Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the state of Missouri, as follows:


            Section A. Chapter 227, RSMo, is amended by adding thereto one new section, to be known as section 227.382, to read as follows:

            227.382. The portion of Interstate 55 in St. Louis County and Jefferson County between Meramec Bottom Road and Highway 141 shall be designated the “Police Officer Steven Jarvis Memorial Highway”. The department of transportation shall erect and maintain appropriate signs designating such highway with the costs to be paid by private donations.
