1.4Statutes, chapter 135A.
1.5BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.6 Section 1. [135A.0431] MILITARY VETERANS; RESIDENT TUITION.
1.7(a) A person who is honorably discharged from the armed forces of the United States
1.8is entitled to the resident tuition rate at Minnesota public postsecondary institutions.
1.9(b) This section is in addition to any other statute, rule, or higher education
1.10institution regulation or policy providing eligibility for a resident tuition rate or its
1.11equivalent to a student.
1.12EFFECTIVE DATE.This section is effective for academic terms beginning after
1.13August 1, 2014.
