     A bill to amend 1961 PA 88, entitled

 

"Reciprocal retirement act,"

 

(MCL 38.1101 to 38.1106) by adding section 2a.

 

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:

 

     Sec. 2a. A reciprocal unit and a reciprocal retirement system

 

shall comply with any applicable requirements under the protecting

 

local government retirement and benefits act.

 

     Enacting section 1. This amendatory act does not take effect

 

unless Senate Bill No. ____ or House Bill No. 5298 (request no.

 

00251'17 *) of the 99th Legislature is enacted into law.
